Was the Twitter call to action and Friday the thirteenth was the auspicious date chosen for the first meetup of  #camrev .

Twelve of us gathered in the co-working space #camcow that citylife rent out for as little as£20 per week and in which one of our number occupy a small workshop on the ground floor.

Lots of  interesting discussions took place. One of which is the idea that somehow local entrepreneurs should meet up with the CUTEC students so they can form joint entries in the CUE competitions (a fact that is not widely known).

Be interesting to see where this goes, 50% of the guys (and sadly it was 100% white males) I have also met at OpenCoffee but somehow this group felt more dynamic especially when we had a quick glimpse  at timetric .For me the group is about the closest to recreating the heady  early days of The Cambridge Computer Club.
